The Maryland Democratic Party has a strong foundation — now let's build on it for the digital age. I've seen firsthand how effective digital organizing can be, from managing communications for the Maryland High School Democrats and reaching over twenty thousand viewers, to leading operations for a 150-person youth policy organization. I'll work to enhance our online presence with better social media outreach, accessible meeting information, and transparent communication tools that help voters see the great work we're already doing. By meeting people where they are and making it easier to get involved, we can expand our base, welcome new members, and show Maryland that the Democratic Party is responsive, modern, and ready to grow.

From drafting testimony on climate legislation that passed the State Senate to organizing virtual lobbying nights with over 1,000 participants, I've seen how civic education transforms passive observers into active participants. Working in Councilman Mark Parker's office taught me how local government actually functions, while supporting campaigns for leaders like Mayor Brandon Scott and Comptroller Brooke Lierman showed me how we win. I'll champion civic education initiatives that teach Marylanders, especially young people, why their participation matters and how to make their voices heard. I'll bring this experience to actively recruit young people through schools, universities, and youth organizations, making Central Committee meetings more accessible and engaging for new participants. By creating real opportunities for youth leadership, we'll boost turnout among first-time voters, strengthen our coalition, and build a generation of Democrats who are energized, informed, and ready to lead.
